You can find a ready made light reflector at the hardware store. It is a radiator reflector panel that you can put behind the radiator to reflect the heat. The size is 60 cm x 80 cm, it is 10mm thick and is very sturdy. Both sides are coverd with aluminium foil and the surface is lightly crinkled. It will cost you around 10 Euro but you can use it immediately an it is very durable.
