Build your own sturdy, simple, adjustable light stands

You need

- a telescope pole (painter pole)
- a metal table-leg
- a pice of scrap wood, plywood
- 4 wood screws

You can buy these items from any hardware store for very little money. Get a metal table-leg, a height of 40 cm should be enough. The leg must be hollow so you can fit in the painter pole. Find a piece of plywood approx. 50 x 50 cm. Screw the table-leg to the plywood and stick the painter pole into the table-leg. Now you have a adjustable light stand for your clamp lights or reflectors.
