Macro studio in a bucket

You can improve your table-top photography by using a cheap plastic bucket.

1. Take a cheap white plastic bucket. You can find it at a household
store and it will cost you less than 1 Euro.

2. Cut out a smooth curve to make the front opening.

3. Put the bucket upside-down on a white surface like a sheet of paper
or white cotton. Flood the inverted bucket from above and behind with a
light source.

4. You can use any light source like work lights, flash, studio lights
or natural light (next to a window). The plastic acts as a diffuser and
a reflector, preventing harsh, multiple shadows.

If necessary you can use a tripod or bean bag to stabilize your camera.
